For your “summer reading” (and all the rest of
the months, too), there’s a new web page, compiled by Archdeacon
for Congregational Ministries Bryan Hobbs, that’s full of
excellent resources—websites, books and other materials--for
congregational ministry. Go to the diocesan website, www.diosef.org,
and click on the link for “Congregational
Ministry”. This
is everyone’s opportunity to benefit from some of the resources
that the Nehemiah, and now Barnabas, parishes have been using
as they move through their process of vision, mission and
strategic planning.
Another web page that will be posted soon is
the report from the Bishop’s Council of Advice on Human Sexuality,
which has just completed its work. Watch for that report
by July 1 under the “Human Sexuality Resources” link on the
website.

In an effort to expand ministry to young adults,
to identify potential young adult leaders and to
encourage their involvement in the church, the National
Church is developing a database with the names of
Episcopal youth who have recently graduated from

is requesting that each parish provide the names
of all youth who will graduate from high school this
year, so that this information can be submitted to
the National Church for this purpose. Click
here for a downloadable form for providing this information. Email
information to mary@diosef.org,

Florida, 525 NE 15 St., Miami, FL 33132.
