Party!

The Convention Eucharist on Friday evening was followed by a dinner dance. Instead of speeches, a versatile band provided lively music that kept some delegates and guests dancing till midnight.

Bishop Frade began the festivities by presenting a special gift to his friend, Bishop Keith Ackerman of the Diocese of Quincy, who had preached at the Convention Eucharist. “A serious and important book” was in the package—One Hundred Years of Baseball.
