Young people surprised Bishop Frade with a birthday cake, balloons and the gift of a chasuble and stole decorated by participants in the Children's Sunday service on Oct. 13. There were other gifts presented also--
Canon Kerry Robb, ending his term as secretary of Convention, received a plaque--and a biretta, headgear he said he would "be glad to share with the new archdeacons". Priests ordained since last year's Convention were introduced.

Here they prepare to express their concern about a resolution which would have reduced the amount budgeted for a clergy spouse wellness event. (Another solution was found for apparently conflicting demands, and the resolution was withdrawn.) A new super-hero for the diocese--Blue Box Man!
